The Sina robots emulate surgeons’ hand movements, employing a minimally invasive technique with a mere 5-millimeter incision, substantially shortening patient recovery time and enabling more precise suturing of wounds.
The robots replicate one centimeter of a surgeon’s hand movements with a one-millimeter response on the patient, allowing extensive precision in wound closure through the system console. Sina is the result of two decades of research conducted at Tehran’s University of Medical Sciences, showcasing the prowess of Iranian engineering and technological advancements.
