President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a special reception at Qasr Al Bateen in Abu Dhabi for the organizers of the “UAE Stands with Lebanon” campaign. He expressed his gratitude for their swift response in aiding Lebanon’s citizens.
The campaign took place from October 2024 to January, in response to escalating violence in Lebanon. It successfully raised nearly AED 190 million and collected 6,000 tonnes of relief supplies, dispatched via 22 airplanes and two ships.
Sheikh Mohamed emphasized the UAE’s ongoing commitment to assist those in need globally. He also praised the UAE community for their generous contributions that made the humanitarian campaign successful.
