During an unexpected inspection at the company, the minister evaluated adherence to work schedules and production efficiency. He observed the production lines and the final assembly workshop, emphasizing Factory 100’s crucial role in supplying the armed forces with various artillery calibers, specialized steel, and armor materials essential for defense and combat machinery, including armored vehicles and tanks.
Additionally, Factory 100 utilizes its surplus capacity to produce various engineering items such as rolled steel sheets, components for fertilizer plants, and corrosion-resistant tanks, all while adhering to high-quality standards through advanced technologies. Bassem Hassan Salman, Chairperson of the company, briefed the minister on current projects and sales performance, highlighting efforts to ensure proper industrial safety measures and attract further investments.
In a subsequent visit, the minister assessed the Military Armored Production and Repair Factory (Factory 200 Military), evaluating its workflow and the main production line dedicated to tank and armored vehicle manufacturing. Key products include the “Raad 200” rocket launcher and the “Sina 200” armored vehicle, alongside civilian products, such as mobile classrooms and fuel tanks, contributing to national projects like green transportation initiatives.
During the inspection at Factory 200, Wafiq Magdy Shafiq, Chairperson of the factory, provided insights into their development strategies and production capabilities. The minister underscored the necessity of maintaining proper governance, organized storage, and adherence to maintenance schedules to sustain production efficiency. He emphasized the importance of continuous oversight and regular evaluations of production plans, inventory levels, and cybersecurity protocols.
