In his dialogue with Zimbabwe’s Oppah Muchinguri Kashiri, both leaders evaluated their existing defence cooperation and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at fostering deeper ties. They emphasized the need for ongoing interactions to ensure the MoU’s successful implementation and discussed potential collaboration in military medicine.

During the meeting with Ethiopia’s Defence Minister, Aisha Mohammed, both parties acknowledged the strengthening defence relations and agreed to formalize them with an MoU. This proposed MoU aims to enhance cooperation in military training, peacekeeping, and the capability building of Ethiopia’s Armed Forces while exploring opportunities within India’s private sector for defence production.

With Yemen’s Lt Gen Mohsen Mohammed Hussein Al Daeri, the discussions centered on expanding military training and capacity building efforts, reinforcing their commitment to furthering defence partnerships.

In his exchange with Gambia’s Defence Minister, Sering Modou Njie, both leaders reaffirmed dedication to improving defence collaboration through capacity building and shared best practices, identifying significant potential for cooperation in the defence industry.

Lastly, Defence Minister Singh and Gabon’s Brigitte Onkanowa deliberated on various aspects of bilateral defence cooperation, focusing on training and capability enhancement for the armed forces. They expressed mutual interest in expanding collaboration within the defence industry.
