Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s presidential aircraft, operated by Ukraine Air Enterprise, successfully landed at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The flight departed from Rzeszów–Jasionka Airport in Poland at 12:02 Kyiv time and reached its destination at 16:40, taking approximately 4 hours and 38 minutes. Accompanying President Zelenskyy were key officials including Andrii Yermak, head of his office, and Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defence, Andrii Sybiha and Rustem Umierov.
The aircraft’s journey involved traversing several countries including Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, and Egypt. This significant visit marks an important moment in Ukrainian diplomacy as global leaders engage in cooperation concerning regional stability.
In related developments, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio arrived in Jeddah earlier to conduct bilateral discussions with Ukrainian representatives.
