Joya de Nicaragua showcased new products and packaging updates at PCA 2025, including the Antaño CT Gran Cónsul, Go-Packs, and revamped packaging for the Cuatro Cinco and Número Uno lines, all emphasizing quality and exclusivity.
Joya de Nicaragua, esteemed as the oldest commercial premium cigar brand from Nicaragua, garners significant attention at the PCA Convention & Trade Show. The engaging staff and compelling conversations, especially with President Juan Ignacio Martínez, enhance the experience.
During this year’s show, Joya de Nicaragua was situated within Drew Estate’s expansive space, sharing a corner booth. Despite a shared environment with limited differentiation, Joya showcased intriguing products, although it featured only one new cigar release amidst several packaging updates.
The new addition is the Joya de Nicaragua Antaño CT Gran Cónsul, a size renowned in previous Antaño lines. Exclusively available to members of the Club de Amigos of JDN program, this cigar features an Ecuadorian Connecticut-seed wrapper, Nicaraguan binder and filler, priced at $11 for a box of 20 cigars, with 500 boxes produced for release in May 2025.
Additionally, Joya de Nicaragua introduced Go-Packs, sampler packs containing five 6 x 50 toro cigars from various lines, including an exclusive Mixed Go-Pack. Notably, the Rosalones Line Go-Pack will only be accessible at retailers outside the U.S. market. These Go-Packs are set for release in July 2025.
The Cuatro Cinco Reserva Especial will see a subtle packaging update, transitioning to box designs similar to the Cinco Décadas, while maintaining its original blend and price. This update is scheduled for release in June 2025.
Furthermore, the Número Uno line will now be available in 13-count boxes globally, presenting a refined appearance and a lower cost compared to the previous 25-count boxes designated for the U.S. market. This update will not affect the exclusive Número Uno L’Attache variant, meant for the loyalty program, set to release in April 2025.
In summary, Joya de Nicaragua has unveiled noteworthy updates and products at the PCA 2025. The introduction of the Antaño CT Gran Cónsul highlights the brand’s commitment to innovation while maintaining exclusivity. Additionally, the new Go-Packs and packaging enhancements reflect a responsive approach to market demands. Overall, Joya de Nicaragua continues to uphold its legacy with quality offerings and strategic updates.
